آزمون گفتاری IELTS در بخش اول شامل سوالاتی راجع به خود و خانواده‌تان، کار، تحصیل و علائق شماست. ممتحن در این بخش می‌خواهد اطلاعاتی درباره شما به‌دست آورد. آمادگی برای این قسمت بسیار ساده است.

این بخش معمولا چهار تا پنج دقیقه طول می‌کشد اما با توجه به شرایط آزمون می‌تواند بیشتر یا کمتر شود. در بخش اول آزمون گفتاری IELTS باید به سوالات جواب کاملی ارائه دهید و هر چه بیش­تر صبحت کنید نمره بیش­تری خواهید گرفت.

بخش اول (Part I) آزمون گفتاری IELTS

در بخش اول آزمون گفتاری IELTS مصاحبه­‌کننده سوالاتی را مطرح می­کند که داوطلب باید با آرامش و اعتماد به نفس پاسخ گوید.

در زیر چند نمونه سوال از یکی از زمینه و پاسخ­‌های مرتبط جهت آشنایی داوطلب آورده شده است.

در این مطلب سوالات مرتبط با محل زندگی و شهری که داوطلب آن ساکن است (home town) آورده شده است.

1- Where do you live? Can you describe your city?

Suggested answer: I live in a flat in Tehran that is the capital of Iran because of that it is noisy and crowded as well as pollution.

2- What other countries have you visited?

Suggested answer: I’ve travelled as a tourist to Dubai, Istanbul in Turkey and UK that I enjoyed visiting all of them and I hope to visit more countries.

3- Where is your home town located?

Suggested answer: Tehran is locates in northern part of Iran and we can have all the seasons.

4- What do you like about where do you live?

Suggested answer: There is a wide range of shops in my home town so you can supply everything you need easily and quickly.

5- Is it easy to travel around your home town?

Suggested answer: Travelling and commuting are very difficult and it takes a lot of time to travel somewhere to do something.

6- What type of restaurants are there in your city?

Suggested answer: You can find several types of restaurants in Tehran such as fast food stands; traditional restaurants, Chinese restaurants, ect.

7- What are the main industries in your country?

Suggested answer: Oil and gas industries are the main industries in Iran but there are some other industries too, such as carpet, wearing and dried fruits. Industries except oil and gas don’t make lots of income for the country.

8- What do the majority of people do to make a living in your home town?

Suggested answer: Since most of the offices are located in the capital city we see a great number of people work in the offices.

9- How long have you live in Tehran?

Suggested answer: I was born in Tehran and I have been living there from my childhood.

10- Do you like living in your home town?

Suggested answer: Yes, I like that but I prefer to live in the suburb or countryside after being retired.

11- Have you met your next door neighbors?

Suggested answer: I have 2 next door neighbors that one of them has moved in this apartment 10 month later but I haven’t met them yet.

12- Is there a supermarket in the neighborhood?

Suggested answer: Yes there are 3 supermarkets around the square where I live. But I usually buy from the nearest one.

13- Would you like move house to a bigger area?

Suggested answer: I was born in this area so I know and recognize most the locals because of that I don’t want to move my house to another area.

14- Can you get along with your neighbors?

Suggested answer: I have 11 neighbors and we don’t meet each other a lot. We meet each other only in the apartment meeting to talk about problems in our apartment. Most of them are logical people but 2 of them are rude and impolite.

15- Would you tell me some of problems of urban lives?

Suggested answer: In the crowded city like Tehran which is noisy and polluted, being relaxed is difficult.

16- Would you like to be inhabitant of a small village?

Suggested answer: Although small villages are quiet, clean and calm but there is nothing to do so living there would be boring.

17- How do you define a good society?

Suggested answer: In my opinion in an ideal society all the people respect other people’s rights.

18- What are the cultural values of your country?

Suggested answer: There are lots of cities in my country that have historical places and buildings where historical monuments are unique.

19- Is it easy to find accommodation in your home town?

Suggested answer: Yes there are lot buildings to rent in my home town but the rent is very high and finding a house with fair rent is difficult. Another problem is that if you don’t pay the rent just in a month the landlord has permission to evict you.
